St Lucia, Island in the Sun, Perfect For Your Vacation.

St Lucia, island in the sun This is a phrase many nationals and visitors use when talking about St Lucia. It's truly an island in the sun.

There is no snow, no ice, no cold, only beautiful sunny weather most of the time. So during the North American and European winter, folks leave the cold and come down by the thousands to St Lucia.

Island in the Sun

The island of St Lucia is simply beautiful. As a matter of fact, this is the slogan that the St Lucia Tourist Board uses when marketing the Caribbean island.

There are many Heritage Tours Sites that you should explore when you come here. This will certainly encapsulate the beauty of tropical St Lucia island.

I'm referring to sites like the Toraille Waterfall near the town of Soufriere, where you will find a breathtaking waterfall, gushing 50 ft over a cliff side and cascading into a pool at the center of a beautiful garden.

Then there's Fond Doux Estate where you will find a charming 19th century plantation house set in a tranquil, natural and colonial location. This is where the battle of Rabot occurred and freedom fighters won over the British Army.

This St Lucia island features a number of many other Heritage sites and tours such as Mamiku Gardens, the East Coast Trail at Praslin, the Folk Research Center, Fond Latisab Creole Park, Maria Islands, Gros Pitons Trail, The Canaries Valley Hike, Castries Heritage Walk, Forestiere Tropical Forest Trail, Latille Waterfalls and Gardens, Fond d'Or, Anse La Raye Adventure and Beach Excursions.

If you need to really explore St Lucia and enjoy it to the fullest, you should contact St Lucia Heritage Tours.

If you need a real Caribbean vacation, one that puts you as close as possible to nature, the sunny tropical island of St Lucia should be a priority.

This island, nicknamed Helen of the West because of its beauty, is surely the place to be. This is why I live here.
