Ladera St Lucia for exquisite cooking and a panoramic view

Where location is concerned, Ladera St Lucia has a major advantage over many other St Lucia and Caribbean resorts.

In my opinion, the view from Ladera is the best that one can find at any resort in St Lucia. If a panoramic view is one of your priorities, you should certainly consider staying at or visiting Ladera St Lucia.

Ladera Resort is situated on a steep cliff's edge that is 1100 ft above sea level and carpeted in rainforest. From the resort, you get a breathtaking view of the world famous Pitons. Incidentally, these Pitons recently attained World Heritage status.

There are 6 villas and 19 suites at Ladera St Lucia. If being close to nature and enjoying a natural view is an important part of your Caribbean vacation, you will be happy to know that these villas and suites are wide open to the view and fresh breezes from the forested hilltop.

The interiors of these villas and suites are very spacious and are constructed of tropical hardwoods, stone and tile. You will find nineteenth century furniture, wicker and accessories, crafted by St Lucian artisans.

Outside, you will find terraced gardens with plunge pools surrounded by lush gardens.

Ladera St Lucia is home to the award-winning Dasheene restaurant. The menu of Caribbean and international specialties is simply delicious.

Let me hasten to add that of all the restaurants in St Lucia at which I've had the opportunity to eat, the Dasheene restaurant is my favorite. In my opinion their food is the best.

The beach is just a few minutes away from Ladera. The resort provides a complimentary service for those who want to enjoy the lovely and refreshing beaches of Soufriere.

Reviews: Find the best deal, compare prices and read what other travelers have to say about Ladera Resort.
