I highly recommend St. Lucia! It's beautiful, peaceful and I can't wait to go back.
A couple things to be mindful of:
Roads can be very thin and windy. Deep ditches line the roads and could be very dangerous. People drive faster than I think they should, but that's probably true because I'm not as familiar with the roads as the natives.
Many people are always everywhere offering to carry stuff, open doors and so on for a tip. It can get quite irritating.
