Bagshaws St Lucia was started in 1960 by Mr. Sydney Bagshaw, an American who chose St Lucia as his retirement home. He had been an art editor with Reader’s Digest Magazine, and at first his silk screening was merely a hobby. But with the assistance of his wife and family his past time blossomed into a thriving business, inspired by the color and beauty of St Lucia.
