Breadfruit Balls Recipes!

How to make Breadfruit Balls. This is a very simple recipe that you could enjoy so here it is.

INGREDIENTS

 1medium sized breadfruit

 1 lb beef

 ½ cup chopped onions

 2 cloves of chopped garlic

 2 stems of celery and parsley

 2 cups of grated cheese

 2 cups of bread crumbs

Cut the breadfruit in four then clean it by removing the skin and the center stalk. Boil the breadfruit until it is soft enough. One way to know if it is soft enough is by pricking it with a fork.

Drain out excess water and place the breadfruit in a bowl then mash it with a potato masher until it has a paste like texture and allow it to cool down.

Place the beef on the fire with half a cup of water. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon curry powder. When the beef starts to boil, add your chopped onion, chopped garlic, parsley and celery. Cover the pot and allow the beef to cook until it reaches desired tenderness.

When completed, pour the cooked beef into the bowl containing the breadfruit. Use a masher and big spoon to mix the two ingredients. Add the two cups of cheese and mix it thoroughly.

Make balls with the mixture at the sizing of your choice. Roll in bread crumbs and they can be fried or baked.

If you are baking the dish, then place in oven for approximately 35 minutes at a temperature of 200*c.
