Find Your Place Of Worship
One of the many questions I have been asked was “where can I find churches in St Lucia to worship?” I realized that there were a lot of Christians who come here for vacation but still want to find their denomination close by to where they are staying.
While it may not matter to some people, there are many who really want to know where to find one. If that is also your question, then there should not be a problem to find your denomination unless yours is not very popular. St Lucia has a myriad of Denominations on its’ shores so finding one may not be that hard. Although we may have several denominations here, you may still not find your denomination to worship at because most of them are only the popular churches around the world. While it may be easy to find a popular church, the less popular may be hard or impossible to find. St Lucia is separated in districts and the more urban areas host most of those churches. For example, you may find as many as four of the same denomination in one urban community like Castries while you may not find one in a more rural community. Some of the churches in St Lucia are:

Among the list are some popular and some not so popular. The most popular ones have churches all over the Island. The Rastafarians have no defined place of worship but often host several gatherings. St Lucia is said to be predominantly Catholics. While it may be so, several of those Catholics are not practicing believers so that makes the statistic a bit hard to prove. Also, in the past few years, the Catholic population is getting smaller and those people are migrating to other smaller denomination. The Catholic is followed by the Seventh Day Adventist and then the Pentecostals. There has been in recent times, a few other denominations that are making their presence felt in St Lucia. We hope you find your place of worship here among all the Churches in St Lucia. If you don't then you can always worship somewhere else. There is no discrimination in St Lucia so you can choose which ever one that meet your needs.
