It may just be the most beautiful bay you’ll ever come across in your lifetime. In fact Marigot was where the movie Doctor Doolittle was filmed.
This beautiful bay is surrounded by lush vegetation and gorgeous scenery and also serves as a home for many wild and exotic birds.
When you plan to visit Marigot bay, don’t forget to take some time to do some bird watching, you will be truly amazed by what you see.
You can even choose to go swimming, snorkeling or relax on the beach if that is on your agenda.
When I first went to Marigot, I really went there for the beach, so when I got there, I was wondering "how do I get to the other side?" I asked and someone told me that there is a ferry that takes you to the other side of the sea while pointing to it.
Apparently that's what the ferry does for the whole day because it was back to get us across.
Don't worry, it is only a minute or two to get across so you have more time to enjoy this beach. The beach is very small but that will not deter you from have lots of fun.
The last time I went there, it only cost me about $EC2.00 to get across. That is less than one dollar in US currency just in case you were wondering, a price I was willing to pay to get to the other side.

The bay is sheltered in a lagoon, making it safe for docking.
Marigot Bay Is located to the north west of St Lucia, about 8 miles or 20 minutes drive south of Castries on you way to the Anse La Raye village. You can choose to go there by boat or ground transfer.
