I gave the tap water a try while I was in Saint Lucia and I have to say it was better than our water here in Seattle. I was there for 3 weeks and never got sick.

Firstly, let me say that St Lucia is not located in Mexico but it is located in the Caribbean. The water from the tap is very safe to drink however some persons rather buy bottled water from the super markets for their own personal reason.
If you choose to buy bottled water, you can find a variety of bottled water that is produced both locally and internationally from super markets or other stores.
