Experience The Thrill Of St Lucia Helicopters

Have you ever been on one of St Lucia helicopters? Wow. The first time you try going on a St Lucia helicopter, especially if you’re afraid of heights is terrifying, well at least I think so. You book your tour and can’t wait to see exactly what St Lucia looks like from the air. Yeah I know you probably came to St Lucia by airplane. It’s a totally different experience.

The day finally is here and you are about to get on board, all of a sudden so many mixed emotions passes through your mind. Trust me it is not as bad as it seem. As a matter of fact you will be grateful that you overcame those emotions.

Well we’re taking off and those emotions are still present but not like it was when you entered. You’re up in the air and you totally forget that you were scared. The view is absolutely stunning. Now it’s breath taking. It is much more beautiful than you expected or when you were on the airplane. St Lucia helicopters bring St Lucia to you in a new light.

You fly all around the island and it is totally remarkable but when you get to Soufriere, you now realize why those twin picks were awarded world heritage site status. You realize that this will be one of your most memorable moments in St Lucia.

St Lucia helicopters offer three tours. They are a north island tour, south island tour and combination of the two. All aerial tours begin at Castries.

North Island tour last approximately 10 minutes with views of Castries, major beaches and hotels, plantations, Cap estate homes, the Atlantic coast, Pigeon point, Fort Rodney, Rodney Bay marina and Rat island. You also get a commentary on histories, hotel location, current island development, and wealth St Lucian homes. This tour cost US $70 per person.

South Island tour last 20 minutes with views of Castries, Marigot Bay, St Lucia’s fishing villages, Rain forest, Mountains, the majestic pitons, drive in volcano, coral reefs, dive sites, remote water falls, rivers and valleys. In this package you get commentaries on history, banana facts, Rain forest, indigenous species, geological features and activities and places that we call a must visit. This tour cost US $120 per person.

If you want a combination tour i.e. a north and south island tour combination then it will cost you US$ 155 per person. St Lucia helicopter transfers Shuttle are also available from or to the following locations; Hewanorra international airport in Vieux Fort, George F. L. Charles airport in Castries and Jalousie Hilton hotel in Soufriere.
