The license cost a non refundable fee of EC$5000 for a specific property and is not transferable. The license is permanent and does not require renewal. You must get a local lawyer in order to register the license.
If you become a citizen of St Lucia then you are exempted from paying the alien land holding license. You can also qualify for citizenship if you are married to a St Lucian or if you or your parents were born in St Lucia.
