I believe you can still make a good impression at a mid priced restaurant. Some of them have the mid level price with the expensive flair to it.
There are more mid level priced restaurants than the more pricey ones.
That is not to say you can't get a delicious meal very cheap. It is possible to get a great meal lower than ten dollars. That is where most of the locals normally go on a daily basis.
You can choose from a large variety of cuisines from local to international dishes. A vacation is not complete unless you sample local dishes.
The favorite dish among the locals is the green figs and salt fish which by the way, is St Lucia’s national dish. It is a must have when you come to St Lucia.
It may not be on the menu at your hotel but you can always find it at local restaurants. You can also make mention of it to the chef and see what he says.
Speaking of food, if you are a food fanatic then you will love the the St Lucia Food and Rum Festival.
You can find restaurants in every part of St Lucia whether you are in Gros Islet and Castries which is towards the north, Vieux Fort way to the south or in Soufriere when you plan to visit the only drive in volcano in the world to capture photos of St Lucia’s majestic Pitons which has recently attained world heritage status.
Don’t bother with carrying your food after you. It is only going to hinder you from enjoying your self. Indulge your self in tantalizing foods prepared to satisfy even the toughest critic.
Spice Of India Spice of India located at the Bay walk mall in Rodney Bay serves a variety of delicious Indian Food. The customer service it the best I've come across on the Island.
