Rodney Bay is now established as the home of the Atlantic Rally for cruisers in the Caribbean. Every year in the month of November, over 200 yachts sail across the Atlantic from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary islands to Rodney Bay marina, St Lucia.

The Yachts vary in sizes, from 30ft to 100ft and sail for approximately 3,000 miles. It began in 1986 and has become the most popular way to cross the Atlantic.

St Lucia has two marinas. The Rodney Bay Marina and Marigot Bay Marina.

The Rodney Bay Marina caters to the needs of all yachtsmen. There are facilities like berthing docks, mechanical, paint, fiberglass and machine shops, banks, restaurants, boutiques and lot more. It is also in close proximity to night life and hotels.
